Cookie

Cookie's ideal home

Cookie is a big bouncy baby who can live with children aged 14 and over if they are comfortable around large excitable dogs and give her space when needed. Cookie will need to be the only dog in her new home but will need continued socialisation when out on walks. She has the potential to live with cats and small furries, following advice from us on how to introduce them safely. Cookie could potentially be left for up to 6 hours, but this will need to be built up slowly and overtime once she has settled in. Adopters will need to be happy to work on her basic training and to keep her on lead when out and about, she would also need to have her own private and secure garden that she can stretch her legs in.

Could you be Cookie's perfect match?

“COOKIE!”- Meet Cookie, our own real-life cookie monster who is just as fluffy and way cuter! Cookie is a 10-month-old Alaskan Malamute X Shepherd who has boundless energy, a nose for adventure, and a love of people. If you are looking for a sidekick whose part majestic mountain dog, part loveable goofball, and full-on Cookie Monster at snack time, then she is your girl. Cookie would love a home where her new family are patient and ready to work on her confidence, giving her the space to thrive.

Malamute Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Alaskan Malamute.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
